The Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a Competition for Grant Funding for Young Scientists for scientific and/or scientific and technical projects for 2027 (implementation period: 36 months) in the following priority areas of scientific development, in accordance with the Competition Documentation:
– Climate Resilience, Water Security, Natural Resources, and Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex;
– Technological Sovereignty and Industrial Competitiveness;
– Health, Human Development, and Quality of Life;
– National Security, Defense, and Resilience of Territories and Critical Infrastructure;
– Fundamental Research, Scientific Foundations, and Scientific Capacity.

• Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; lunch break: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Applications must be submitted electronically to the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, certified with the electronic digital signatures of both the research supervisor and the applicant, through the information system of JSC “NCSTE” at: https://is.ncste.kz.

Competition Timeline
Application submission opens: October 13, 2026.
Final application submission deadline: November 11, 2026 (inclusive).
