From May 15 to 16, 2026, the 80th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists of Medical Universities “Achievements of Fundamental, Applied Medicine and Pharmacy” was held at Samarkand State Medical University (Republic of Uzbekistan).

Medical residents from the Department of Internal Medicine of Karaganda Medical University participated in the conference. Representatives of around 40 medical universities from different countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, India, Latvia and others, took part in the event. More than 1,200 scientific reports were presented during the conference.

Following the results of the conference, the medical residents of our university took top places:
