On October 20, 2026, as part of the educational work, the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at Karaganda Medical University held a ceremonial event dedicated to the major holiday of our country — Republic Day.

The event brought together students and faculty members in atmosphere of unity, creativity, and genuine patriotism. Future healthcare professionals were actively involved in organizing and delivering the festive program.

Fourth-year students of the Pediatrics program (groups 4004, 4005, and 4006), as well as third-year students of the General Medicine program and residents demonstrated tremendous amount of activity and prepared an eventful program. The audience was captivated with admiration during the virtuoso performance on the dombra of famous kuis dedicated to Kazakhstan and our vast Homeland. Every note resonated with pride in the hearts of the listeners. With special reverence and expressiveness, the young people recited patriotic poems about love for their native land, sovereignty, and national cohesion. The students presented informative multimedia presentations and videos that clearly reflected the key stages in the formation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and our country's achievements. A bright interactive highlight was an educational quiz on the history, traditions, and culture of Kazakhstan. The future doctors demonstrated not only brilliant medical logic, but also profound erudition!

An interactive educational quiz focusing on Kazakhstan's history, traditions, and cultural heritage added an engaging dimension to the event. The participating students demonstrated not only their analytical abilities as future medical professionals but also their broad knowledge and intellectual curiosity. 

The main mentors and inspirers of this celebration were the facilitators — the teaching staff of the department: Head of the Department G.K. Alshynbekova, Professors: A.B. Kuzgibekova, S.B. Dyusenova, G.G. Yeremicheva, S.T. Kizatova, PhD, Associate Professor K.S. Zhumakanova, and Assistant Professor M.M. Sabiyeva.

Such events prove that our student youth are not only future highly trained professionals, but also true patriots who carefully preserve the country's cultural heritage. Congratulations to everyone on Republic Day! May our independent Kazakhstan prosper!
