A solemn event dedicated to the Republic Day and the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana. The event was attended by more than a thousand medical professionals, scientists, industry veterans, public figures, and representatives of Kazakhstan’s medical universities.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, national awards were presented to professionals with extensive work experience who have made significant contribution to the development of healthcare and medical science, as well as those with merits to the sector.

Professor Maida Maskhapovna Tussupbekova, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor at the Department of Pathologic Anatomy and Histology, was awarded the Order of Parasat, a state award.
