Chairman of the Board – Rector of “KMU” NCJSC Bakhyt Nurgaliyevna Kosherova took part in the International Scientific Conference on “For the Sustainable Development of Civilization: Cooperation, Science, Education, and Technologies. The path of the CIS countries to the 17 SDGs: a comprehensive strategy,” which was held at the People’s Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba.
The conference brought together over 1,400 participants and more than 200 experts from international organizations from 55 countries.



B.N. Kosherova presented a report at the broad meeting on the topic of: “The healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan: current state and prospects for long-term development.” The Chairman of the Board – Rector of KMU moderated a thematic session on SDG: “Health, well-being, and sustainable development of healthcare.”
Within the framework of the meetings, an agreement on cooperation in science and education was signed between B.N. Kosherova, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Karaganda Medical University, and O.A. Yastrebov, the Rector of the People’s Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba. The agreement will increase opportunities for joint research and educational projects, as well as the exchange of experience between teaching and research staff and students.
