On May 23, 2026, neonatology residents from the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology of KMU NCJSC took part in the Young Scientists Competition held within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference “Pediatric Horizons” at AMU NCJSC.
The conference brought together young researchers, providing them with an opportunity to present the results of their scientific work, exchange experience, and discuss current issues in modern pediatrics and neonatology.
Following the results of the conference, first-year neonatology resident Sabina Nurzhanovna Kenzhegaliyeva, who presented the report “Vaccination of Newborns in Present-Day Conditions: Relevance and Safety” (Academic Adviser — Professor of the Department Saule Tanzilovna Kizatova), was awarded 1st place.
