Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists “Innovative Approaches in Medical Science and Education”, dedicated to the Day of Science Workers in Kazakhstan, 2026

On April 17, 2026, the annual Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists dedicated to the Day of Science Workers in Kazakhstan was held at the NС JSC “Karaganda Medical University”. The conference was organized within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Congress “Multidisciplinary Approaches in Medicine: Integration in Clinical Practice, Science and Education”. The Young Scientists Conference aims to support early-career researchers and students and provides a platform for presenting research results, exchanging experience, and discussing current issues in modern medicine and biology.

More than 120 young scientists from medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation participated in the conference.



The conference included a plenary session and 6 sections: “Clinical Medicine”, “Biomedicine”, “Preventive Medicine”, “Young Scientists”, “Poster Presentations”, and “E-posters”.
At the plenary session, presentations were delivered by D.A. Klyuev, Vice-Rector for Research at NС JSC “Karaganda Medical University”; S.V. Egorov, Assistant Professor at the School of Sciences and Humanities, Nazarbayev University and Research Fellow at McMaster University; and V.P. Riklefs, Vice-Rector for Strategy, Digitalization and Internationalization at NС JSC “Karaganda Medical University”. The presentations addressed fundamental and applied research challenges in medical science and education, as well as the importance of scientific research in medicine.
Within the sections, young scientists presented 68 oral reports, 21 poster presentations, and 45 e-posters. Participants discussed current issues in clinical medicine, biomedicine, and public health. All sessions were productive and constructive, with active discussion of the presented works.



At the closing ceremony, the results of the Best Presentation Competition were summarized:

Clinical Medicine section:

Second place – Kimil Aidan Dauletovich
Third place – Rakhimbaeva Aruzhan Nurzhanovna

Biomedical Research section:
First place – Khrustaleva Anastasia Andreevna
Second place – Serikberli Gulzhan Nurdoskyzy
Third place – Zhetpisbayeva Dariga Nurkasymovna



Preventive Medicine section:
First place – Sabit Aida Bauyrzhanqyzy, Sartbasova Ulzhan Beisenbaiqyzy
Second place – Sultanbekova Aizhan Ardakovna
Third place – Amantaeva Ayaulym Medetovna

Young Scientists section:
First place – Alzhanova Nazira Ruslanovna
Second place – Yesengalieva Elmira
Third place – Saniya Khan

Poster Presentations section:
First place – Bolat Zhanerke Miramgaliqyzy
Second place – Turebekova Dinara Meiramovna
Third place – Toktasinov Kaisar Qoblandyuly



Winners were awarded diplomas and certificates for free publication of one article in the journal “Medicine and Ecology” until the end of 2026. Second and third place winners received commemorative prizes. All participants received certificates of participation.

The Organizing Committee expresses its gratitude to the guests of the conference for their active participation and valuable contribution to the sessions.
