First-year students of the joint double-degree educational program “6B10117–Medicine,” under the supervision of Assistant Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Disciplines at Karaganda Medical University, A.I. Ongarbayeva, participated in and presented posters at the international infographic and informational poster competition “Space Era: 65 Years of Facts and Discoveries,” organized by Kazan State Medical University in April 2026.
The purpose of the competition was to develop students’ creative potential and identify talented students for preparation in international scientific research and innovative practical activities.
According to the results of the organizing committee, in the nomination “Space of Tomorrow,” first-year students of the double-degree educational program “6B10117–Medicine” — Petmat Khavazhevna Avtaeva, Auezkhan Kairatovich Abdikarimov, Aisha Armanovna Gizatova, and Madina Yergalikyzy Yesen — became prize winners of the international competition and were awarded second-degree diplomas.
In a letter of appreciation addressed to the Rector of Karaganda Medical University, Bakhyt Nurgaliyevna Kosherova, the organizing committee of the international infographic and informational poster competition “Space Era: 65 Years of Facts and Discoveries” expressed gratitude to Assistant Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social and Political Disciplines, Aiman Igilikovna Ongarbayeva, for preparing the prize-winning students for the international competition.
